Watch the three tips
Try a shulker-box entrance
The first trick turns a shulker box into a way down into a secret base. In the demonstration, opening the box while standing on it lets the player drop through.
Try it: place the shulker box so its lid opens upward. Copy the block arrangement in the video, including the block above your head, then stand on the box and open it. Test the little setup before building your base around it—the box’s direction and the overhead block are the details to watch!

Give your containers a custom name
A little name can make your storage feel like your own. In the video, a shulker box is renamed HELLO THERE, and that greeting appears at the top when it opens.
Try it: put a shulker box in an anvil, enter your name, and take the renamed box from the result slot. Place it and open it to see your text above the inventory slots. Try a friendly greeting like the one in the video, or a label for what you plan to store.

Use scaffolding to get upstairs
Scaffolding can be handy inside your house, too! The video shows a vertical stack used to climb between floors without building a big staircase.
Try it: stack scaffolding where you want to travel up through your house, leaving an opening in the floor above. Step into the stack and climb to the next level. It’s a fun option to try when you want to leave more room for the rest of your build.

Which idea will you try first? Pick one, experiment with it, and make it part of your own Minecraft world!
